Everyone in the family slept here last night. It's not that unusual, happens most of the time probably, but it seems like someone is missing a lot. I wake up in the middle of the night and go over in my head what everyone is doing, which friend Alina is staying with tonight. I was at home all by myself for a few hours the other night while Troy went out to his mom's, Kalyn was running with a friend and then going to watch movies with another and Alina was spending the night with someone. I tried to talk myself into being relaxed and watching whatever I wanted on tv. But I can only really do that when everyone else is here and in bed.

Here are my girls, together at grandma's last November.
This is how they were yesterday afternoon. I love it when they are loving each other. Kalyn took Alina to the book store and to Starbucks, and then to the library to check out a book for Alina. Kalyn is a reader, Alina is not. But Kalyn wanted Alina to check out something to read this summer.
This is the book. Not my favorite kind of book, but hey, it's a book. And I wasn't planning to take the girl to the library yesterday afternoon, so I'm very grateful to Kalyn for doing that.

By the way, here is Kalyn's art stuff after we hung it up in Alina's room.

Nice!
And this is a giant cabbage that Troy ran out in the rain (YES! It's raining AGAIN) to pick for me this morning. We have a bunch more of these out there! I'm going to work on making stuffed cabbage rolls this rainy morning.
