We all started back to school.
This is our neighbor Gracie in the picture with Alina. She sometimes stops by before school and she happened to on this day.
And here is my now 5th grader and Senior in high school.
And then Alina turned 10.
She asked her sister to make a big chocolate chip cookie cake for her. I love to make special birthday cakes, but I was happy to let Kalyn do it this time. And every bit of it got eaten.
Don't know what she's wishing for, but she got an ipad mini from us.
We had our usual cookout, with Troy cooking burgers. And corn on the cob that Kalyn brought home from work that day.
There is no more tire on the rope, but they like to swing from it over the ditch still.
She had Desiray over and Colton brought some friends with him.
My mom made a really cool card for her listing 10 things Grandma Linda and Grandpa Dave love about Alina.
We are having our usual struggle to get back into our routine of waking up early, packing lunches, getting dinners ready after work and to bed on time. And getting homework done before playing with friends. It's hard.
